Course Outline
The Cybersecurity Foundation course spans two days, providing a focused introduction to essential cybersecurity concepts and practices. On Day 1, participants will explore the fundamental concepts of cybersecurity, including the principles, threats, and risks that organisations face in today’s digital landscape. Day 2 covers approaches to implementing and managing cybersecurity programs, followed by the certification exam, allowing participants to demonstrate their understanding and readiness to apply these concepts in real-world scenarios.

Upon successful completion of the Cybersecurity Foundation course, participants will be able to explain the fundamental concepts and principles of cybersecurity, gaining a clear understanding of the key elements that underpin effective cybersecurity management. General Information
The Cybersecurity Foundation course includes both certification and examination fees in the overall price, ensuring participants have access to all necessary resources without additional costs. Participants will receive comprehensive training materials, comprising over 200 pages of content that include practical examples, exercises, and quizzes to support their learning. An attestation of course completion, worth 14 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits, will be issued to all participants who attend the full training course. Candidates who complete the training but do not pass the exam are eligible to retake it free of charge within 12 months from the initial exam date.

Examination & Certification
The “PECB Cybersecurity Foundation” exam fully complies with the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP). It assesses participants across two main competency domains: fundamental cybersecurity principles and concepts, and the implementation and management of a cybersecurity program. Upon successfully passing the exam, participants can apply for the “PECB Certificate Holder in Cybersecurity Foundation” credential. This entry-level certification does not require prior professional experience, audit or assessment experience, or project involvement. The only additional requirement is signing the PECB Code of Ethics, confirming your commitment to professional conduct in the field of cybersecurity.
