“Completing my Level 4 Data Protection and Information Governance Practitioner Digital IT Apprenticeship was a huge challenge, especially since being out of mainstream/higher education learning since 2002. Bev and my tutor Scott offered perfect guidance and support in helping me achieve this. “The ISO 27001 Lead Implementor Training was excellent. The 4-day course content was very easy to follow due to the clearly thought out structure. The trainer clearly understands your challenges if you are new to the ISO Standards, and always had a useful and relevant real-world example to reference. The course material was tailored and suitable for both beginners and experienced IT professionals. The venue was fantastic. The training room was clean, bright and had air conditioning. This online course walked me through the pre-requisite knowledge and techniques that I need to be an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor. Course: Excellent Beverly very well organised. All supporting booklets and training manual’s supplied and well presented. Trainer: Excellent lots of real life examples and exercise’s to help land the subjects. No rush to move off the subject until everyone got it. Location: Excellent 5 mins walking distance from Piccadilly station and close to other transport links. Venue: Light spacious well equipped training room, amazing food, hot and cold drinks available all day. Very clean, newly refurbished friendly and organised venue.”

“Over the past few years (and as an older person) I have been trying to change my career direction from financial services to tech. As you can imagine, it has been difficult to make that jump. Most companies saying you’ve got loads of experience, but you haven’t got the skills!It was Bev Mcgowan at the Specialists Hub who spotted the potential in me and my eagerness to get into tech (particularly cyber security). She aligned my experience with her huge network of contacts to enable me to change careers and join FWD View on an apprenticeship.Delivery model – Specialists Hub offers a very high quality of apprenticeship with regular (virtual) masterclasses delivered by Len Shand (an expert with many years of delivering cyber apprenticeships). The course is structured, and the full timetable, whatever your pathway, is set out at the beginning.
